Absol con 130 base attacco ,accoppiato a danza spada e alla migliore priority del gioco , diventa un swepper devastante per chi non e preparato ad accoglierlo
sbigo attacco aiuta a sostituire la bassa velocita di absol. con esso , absol diventa davvero difficile da buttar giù dato che con sbigo attacco va seri danni o a dirittura OKHO a molti suoi revenge killers. Absol dovrebbe sempre aver sbico attacco dato che sostiene la sua mediocre velocita ed e la migliore mossa offensiva che absol possiede . da notare , il blocco in sbigo attacco puo essere molto pericoloso se il nemico con predict decide di usare mosse non offensive . superforza e una grande opzione in quanto permette di infliggere danni significativi ai tipi buio e acciaio resistenti alla sua STAB buio . il stellix classico perde come minimo il 66% dei suoi ps dalla superforza di absol , dando ad absol sempre un 2KHO. come set sciarpa scelta inseguimento e un ottima mossa contro spettri e special walls .in quel caso , esso infligge piu danni a chansey , e comporta quindi meno rischi di misprediction.,tuttavia , esso non puo essere usato per l'eliminazione di Rotom e Mismagius nel modo in cui e possibile con la sciarpa scelta , anche se e ancora abbastanza efficace contro di loro. notte sferza e un attacco insostituibile che "salva" absol dagli effetti negativi delle altre mosse .Opzioni Team

Houndoom e gli altri tipi fuoco sono buoni membri , infatti loro possono assorbire fuoco fatuo (per altro houndoom ottiene il boost da fuocardore)e usare le loro STAB per togliere di mezzo alcuni counter di absol . tuttavia, con questi pokemon milotic e una grande minaccia per il team . di conseguenza, Venusaur può essere un ottima scelta dato che entra sul geloraggio di milotic e lo elimina con vigor colpo , resiste ai tipi lotta e aiuta il team con sonnifero .

moltres e sicuramente un buon partner per Absol ma solo nel caso tu abbia un rapigiraro, moltres può entrare gratuitamente sul fuocofatuo dei vari weezing e spiritomb e sistemarli con la sua STAB fuoco bomba , e countera alcuni nemici di absol con la sua STAB eterlama e resiste al tipo lotta.come ulteriore aiuto, abbatte trangrowth e i tipi acciaio ma non può fare niente contro chansey su cui absol può entrare .
anche Milotic può essere un buon partner , infatti ottiene un vantaggio su tutti tipi lotta facilmente , assorbe fuocofatuo col boost di pelledura , ,e uccide col suo potente surf . ironicamente, anche Weezing e Spiritomb sono ottimi compagni grazie alle loro abilita che gli permettono di fermare i tipi lotta presenti nel gioco .
spiritomb può bloccare il rapigiro di hitmontop.

One of the main problems with Absol's Swords Dance set is that it suffers from having too few moveslots for all of Absol's necessary options. Therefore, if you want, you can remove Swords Dance from the set altogether and run a simple Life Orb attacker set, relying on Absol's immense power—even without a boost—and benefiting fully from the coverage granted by Absol's movepool without being locked into a single move. By doing this, you are able to run both Night Slash and Psycho Cut alongside Sucker Punch and Superpower or include another option such as Megahorn or Pursuit. Without the power from Swords Dance, Absol won't be sweeping teams, but in exchange it can hit hard off the bat and punch holes into any walls who try to absorb the blows. It should generally function similarly to the Choice Band set, but with the added ability to act as a potential late-game cleaner should the need arise.
Megahorn is a powerful weapon that can OHKO Tangrowth after a Swords Dance, something few physical sweepers without a super effective STAB can boast. It is stronger than a STAB Night Slash against neutral opponents, and, besides low accuracy, has no detrimental side-effect. However, Megahorn is a lesser option since Night Slash has the ability to effectively hit Rotom and Mismagius. Stone Edge is extremely strong against Flying-types, but for the most part its coverage is redundant or inconsequential. Zen Headbutt has 10 more Base Power than Psycho Cut, but the latter's higher critical hit rate and better accuracy make up for the slight power drop.
Taunt may seem a poor option on something as frail as Absol; indeed, its uses are mostly situational. However, if you are especially worried about status attacks, it can completely shut down Spiritomb and turn it into set-up fodder. Weezing can also be shut down unless it attacks off the bat (since Sludge Bomb will deal decent damage to Absol). However, despite Absol's big weakness to status effects, Taunt's utility is fairly limited, as revenge killing is a far more popular way of dealing with Absol. Absol is capable of Baton Passing Mean Look, Swords Dance, Calm Mind, and Curse. Baton Passing Mean Look is one of Absol's few niches compared to the rest of the UU Baton Passers. Swords Dance is better left to Scyther, while Hypno and Mr. Mime pass Calm Mind much better than Absol. It is one of the few Pokémon who can Baton Pass Curse as well, but there are still better choices for this job.
Will-O-Wisp can burn opponents while Thunder Wave can cripple some fast sweepers. Perish Song can be used to ruin Baton Pass chains as well. Absol can also learn Wish as a NYPC move, but it is illegal with many of Absol's egg moves. You are probably better off using a bulkier Pokémon if you are set on using these moves, as even with defensive investment Absol can barely survive neutral hits.
Since Absol will only ever be used as a sweeper and cannot take a hit from anything, max Attack and Speed are essential to maximize its chances of a successful sweep. This leaves 4 EVs unaccounted for, and while it may seem irrelevant where you place them, 4 HP Absol reaches 272 HP, which is divisible by 4, 8, and 16, which means that Absol will take more damage from residual damage such as Stealth Rock and Spikes. This is of concern on the Choice sets in particular, where a lot of switching is likely, since Absol will faint upon 8 switch-ins to Stealth Rock rather than 9. To avoid this, place the last 4 EVs in the defensive stat of your choice – which one you choose is largely irrelevant, but putting them in Special Defense ensures Porygon2 won't get a Special Attack boost from Download. Another point that should be considered is that with a 29 HP IV, Absol takes less damage from Life Orb, and thus after three attacks and beyond, a Life Orb Absol with a 29 HP IV will have more HP remaining than one with a 31 HP IV.Counters

si deve però stare attenti a psico taglio che infliggerà gravi danni anche con provocazione attiva. Hariyama resiste agli attacchi buio di absol, ignora super forza ,e lo elimina con palmoforza o zuffa , tuttavia, a psico taglio + danza spada OHKOerebbe Hariyama. Drapion resiste a sbico attacco e immune a psico taglio e la sua unica preoccupazione e un sdancer super forza . sfortunatamente,, Drapion non OHKO absol se non con mosse come breccia e forbice x . tipi lotta con pugno rapido faranno indietreggiare absol .
Hitmonlee e Hitmonchan lavorano molto bene perché sono entrambi più veloci di arso e possono usare forti attacchi per il suo OHKO. I migliori tra questi sono spiritomb e weezing che possono rendere absol inutile con fuoco fatuo,ma bisogna fare attenzione a un sdancer psico taglio che infliggerebbe gravi danni a weezing Tangrowth può sopravvivere a ben 2 notte sferza di bassa potenza e danneggiare absol con sonnifero o paralizzante , o semplicemente eliminarlo con la sua STAB verde bufera o vigor colpo
. Leafeon e meno difensivo di tangrowth ,ma più veloce di absol e può resistere a una notte sferza . Milotic e altrettanto bulky data la possibilità di utilizzare nube, che elimina i boost avversari , ma absol può causarli gravi danni in predict . Una versione offensiva di Milotic supera absol ed e capace si infliggere numerosissimi danni con idropompa , ma viene OHKO da un sbigo attacco boostato . infine, Donphan può resistere ad un attacco e attaccare con terremoto o gelo scheggia (quando absol e debole).
in realta e difficile mettere in campo absol con predizione . dopo una danza spada absol può danneggiare gravemente molti suoi counter ,e superarne altri.
la migliore strategia da usare per battere absol e colpire i suoi due punti deboli : le difese e la sua velocita
Pokémon che usano la mossa sostituto e più veloci di absol possono sostanzialmente piazzarlo durante il sbigoattacco e ottenere un sostituto gratuito che blocchera il prossimo danno da sbigo attacco.
per esempio, alakazam può OHKO absol col suo potente segno raggio ,usa sostituto mentre absol usa sbigo attacco, e lo OHKO sacrificando il suo sub.
anche dugtrio usa una strategia simile con sostituto e terremoto. degli altri metodi per gabbare sbigo attacco includono l'attacco rapido di swellow e schiter, sonnifero di venusaur e il fuoco fauto di mismagius
